Creating development containers for the lazy - is there a right way?

Speaker: Alex Doyle

Track: Cloud and containers

Type: BoF (45 minutes)

Containers are a great way to do development for other distributions and releases, but setting them up into an acceptable* development environment seems like it is way harder than it should be. As a typical Lazy Programmer, I want tools to just handle this, but in doing the research it seems like this problem hasn’t been solved yet. Or has it? In this BoF I’d like to find out if anybody else has tried this, and what their use cases were. As a starting point I can spend a few minutes talking about scripts I’ve written to go back to being lazy, but would like to have a wider discussion on what the right way might look like.
