Using git for Ubuntu packaging

All packages in Ubuntu main, and a few Universe, and the corresponding Debian packages, have been imported into Launchpad git repositories. I’d like to show how these are structured so that people can perform these tasks: - add fixes on top (mostly for SRUs [Stable Release Update]s) - contribute to the release in development - how to quickly check what is the Ubuntu Delta wrt Debian - how to perform merges from Debian, i.e., apply the Ubuntu delta on top of the Debian package
