This talk aims to share how the Cubans started using Debian GNU/Linux and how was the adoption of the OS. Also we will cover some aspects of our LUG, the activities we are doing spreading the word about Debian GNU/Linux and Free Software in general. Finally we will show you examples of software we are developing to solve some of our local needs, aiming to exchange experiences and get help and advice for creating a better local community in Cuba.
